It's a sad song. Even though I don't understand much of it. I suppose it means look into my eyes and tell me , tell me that you don't like me (?).

Leaving for KL later on. It's going to be hectic, to rush up and attend seminar everyday. When I come back, it's going to be all meetings and courses. But I suppose it's better than having nothing to do. It's better than, leeching at home.

The other day I had the first day of this 2 month course. They asked: What are your dreams? Write 3.

What was it....?

Looked in and saw a dark tattered place, littered with scraps and clouded with mist. No maybe I made the mist up. If my thoughts look like that, imagine what a place it must be for the little people living within me. Must be a horrid place.
That's it. I have no dreams. What did I write, I wrote Financial Independence. That's not a dream, more like a desire.

I think some part of me died with my past. And I'm not sure it's a good thing anymore.

Updating after forsaking

How long have I visited this blog. Even if it is my own.

My blog should list the things I'm currently feeling/doing? I'm thinking of cooking something after watching Chef Kiss (Ep8). Ears are bouncing with notes from Se7en's 'Digital Bounce'. T.O.P was very nice featuring, love their perf together. The morning air felt cool, I might take up running around nature if it wasn't for the messed up physical adjustments. Tweeting is a new activity, since a lot of people are trending things for people. I should create another account for that purpose.

심심해? 아니주 -- New hobby, creating totally un-understandable Korean words for my own pleasure.

Currently active in almost all Playfish games, give me anything and I'll give back.

Last interesting place went: Bridex for Consumer Fair. It wasn't a total bore, nor was it really interesting. I bought something on impulse to curb the displeasure of being rejected twice ㄱ:( Took some pictures with my partner- y'know, the one that everyone expects to see me going out with. My partner already posted her pictures. I suppose her blog has it too. So I post my own face and it'll be sufficient.

No the pictures didn't turn out like this naturally, I just like my things patchy at the moment.

The greatest entertainment for me nowadays is perhaps spending time with the family (whoever is left in the house), reading books, watching tv shows, playing games, and being a total leech. I wish there's more meaning. I suppose everything can be romanticized and put in a totally interesting light for a blog post. Then again, my mood dictates that this post make everyone get intimate with their brain cells. Go Figure how I'm feeling now. (Isn't there something called Go Fish?)

I hope black pigments are reduced with me not awake during broad daylight.

MM.. Been almost 2 weeks since I came back from Malaysia. I'm fussing and fidgeting due to the sudden return to having almost nothing to do all day. Although, truth be told, the trip was pretty exhausting with many rush-around, transporting baggage, waiting/chasing after bus and trains, lots of i-don't-know-where-the-heck-I'm-going moments too. Hmm, memory pretty fuzzy actually.

Anyway, pictures to be posted later. I've transported the pictures to HD in order to make room for the many videos of Shinhwa I'm downloading haha.

Read this Chinese novel of... Japanese ghost stories. Some of them are pretty bizarre, outright disgusting if you want to imagine the scenes even. But there's one that particularly stayed in my mind.

It's about a noble in olden days. How, every night after fooling around with his lover, would take the same trishaw back home to his very-rich wife. The story goes on to show his growing disgust towards his wife. But the wife says nothing about how he's changed to a domestically-violent husband.

This noble sometimes get the feeling that the trishaw puller doesn't like him, maybe even mean to harm him, but he has no choice but to take that ride home every time he comes out of the lover's house, else he'd have to walk home- for that was the only trishaw standing by that area.

One night, he was forced to walk home after seeing no sign of the trishaw. But, he sees the puller puling away from his house to another direction. He goes home to find his wife gone, and starts to look for her (he thinks of the wife as his possession, his toy, even if he doesn't like her, she's still his, and what would his father-in-law say?) and started to think the wife ran away with the puller (as she is always seen looking out the front window whenever the noble arrives home)

Just then, the father-in-law's servant came looking for him.


Apparently, the wife committed suicide that night. And her body was taken by the trishaw puller to the father's house. Long ago, before her marriage, a trishaw puller deeply admired the wife. The day of her marriage, he committed suicide. All along, the puller knew of the noble's wrongdoings, and all he did every night was to deliver him back to the wife, so she wouldn't be sad. Now that she's gone, he takes her from the wretched place and puts her back where she would be properly treated.


Interesting. Very moved by the puller's affection, that can last even afterlife. Relationships nowadays are really infected by so many other things that this kind of pureness is rare.

I tell people I'm officially unemployed now. But it seems I still have endless tasks to complete before I am able to finally let go and seek a new chapter in life. I guess all of us are still not over the fact that we are now free from books. No matter how often we complain, studying; reading; preparing and cramming for exams have really become a big part of our lives. The fact doesn't stick, so much so that some of us went for a 3-day First Aid Course and came out feeling a bit nostalgic maybe? Or maybe it's just me. How often will I see these people again? Probably soon? Probably never?

Ugh, the body is hurting all over. It's going to be flu season over here. I have yet to contribute a post to Dear Chong's Birthday. I should. But the headache is so strong now I should get to sleep. The Bday post will come belated, but it will be here, I swear.

Was watching 남자의자격 earlier on. The show is nice, I'd continue watching it, especially since the broadcast time falls on a day when I don't have class.

The guys were having a mission to 'go fanatic'. It's a fantastic mission because, who says you can't be fanatic when you've hit 40s and 50s? Everyone had their crazy days once in their life. When one gets old and tired from all things life throws your way, a great way to let go of everything is to go crazy.

What strikes me interesting enough to write a blog post, was a comment from one of KARA's ahjusshi fan. He was given a chance to meet the KARA members backstage after a particular performance, but he declined. Why?

He said:
" There should be a distance between idols and fans. I am happy to be cheering for them in performances. Stars are meant to be looked at from afar, standing on their pedestals."

I'm agreeing with the uncle. Just the night before I was mentioning this belief to 내 남변. I don't want to meet celebrities outside of their activities. Meaning, I'm not taking too much interest in stalking or chasing after them.

Of course, on the occasion that I should come across a favorite artiste outside of his/her activity, I do hope for a photo or something. Depending on the situation.

It;s getting late

So tired from all the assignments.
I've just made a note on all the due dates, they all due within days of each other!

Tired, but feeling like I've accomplished something.
Perhaps my body does not feel the same way, can;t say I've fully slept for the last 2 weeks.

What have I been doing while not sleeping?
I have no idea myself. Memory is getting worse and worse as I get less and less sleep :(

I need more time, especially in the mornings and afternoons

I had a tsunami of nostalgia while visiting Seri Soon Lee the other day (Duh, Eel Noos from Business Law) The smell, the place, the music, the people, gee.. even the veges! Took me back to around 10 years ago. When I would visit the place every weekend with my mom to buy veges. Where the chocolate section always grabs my attention. Where I met so many of my classmates. Where the stationery section is always interesting. Where I worked for a few months a few years ago.

How the place has changed. Yet, how the place hasn't changed

I've been listening to Shinhwa's songs a lot, it seems.
Weird how I'm not getting tired of all the songs. Prolly coz there's so many different types, and also prolly cause I don't understand what they're singing anyway. So it's perfect for listening while doing assignments.

Like right now :) Have a report to hand in approx 10 hrs from now, and I haven't even written 100 words. Ooops. Need 2900 more words. hmm...

I saw this picture just now from AbsolutShinhwa. Definitely makes my day, er, night :)

I should really get back to typing more content into my report.

But I can't resist looking at the picture a while longer.. It'll be sometime before I can see them together as 6. While other fans have had the luck to see them together while they were still active. I became a fan only after Eric and Wannie went into military service. Tough, but I'll wait and I'll make my way to Seoul when their 15th Anniversary concert comes.

Congrats to Siong Ping n Fui Chen! Your wedding was beautiful and you guys look beautiful too!

I felt happy for them two, looking at all the slideshows during the wedding banquet. I even tagged along with the groom and his 'merry men' on their quest to get the beautiful bride. It was fun :) Awkward, maybe, but fun lol. Kinda felt that everyone was calling me for one whole day too. Ah, even met Kong Wee with his girlfriend. Kinda unexpected.

I suppose all the singles present at the wedding would wish they can get married soon too? :) That's what I hear from the bachelor friends. The banquet was brimming with happiness, that guests can feel it too. It's wonderful to receive blessings and wishes for one's wedding, what more can one wish for?

Anyway, Backstreet Boys's song above- No one else comes close. It suits the feel I have for the wedding. The happy couple will see only each other, for no one else comes close :)

On the other hand. I read k-pop news and found out Koyote's BaekGa was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I hope he will be alright. I like him fine after seeing him on shows. I like Koyote's music too (Oh,yes!). It wasn't too long ago that it was reported he had to go serve the army, I can bear with him gone for the scene for two years, but forever? It's be heartbreaking.

I wonder how fellow Koyote bandmate Kim Jong Min feels. It's only days before his discharge from the army, just when it all seems fine sailing, and suddenly the news of BaekGa having a brain tumor comes. Ah, I like Jong Min too. He's literally the monkey =) Sigh, hope all will be well. Full story

Was reading the translated part of DongWan's blog just now
Where he mentioned this quote that suggests how youngsters these days are taking the extravagant life for granted.

I can feel it too. When I take hi-tea at one cafe, and my dad is eating instant noodles at home.
I can feel it too, when I see the simple food that my grandpa longs for when he's hungry.

Sigh, internationalization. (2 more exam papers to go!)

Perhaps there are times when I took things for granted. The life I have now, the things I own, the people around me. Perhaps there are times when, unintentionally, I give off a nonchalant air. Perhaps, there are times when I am outright nasty.


I can only say.. At times, I did it on purpose keke
But then, other times, I'd feel ashamed for having this 'take for granted' mentality...what to do?

Gee, how many days have I slept in the morning and missed lunch altogether. Skin condition pun not good. Ah, reminds me, there was a pimple on my arm! Fucking shit. It's THAT serious.

It's too tiring to converse with them, and it drains your own energy as well. I'm not talking about the less fortunate ones, with illness and disabilities. Get reading or master in something at least, or read the paper. Ough.

Ain't it tiring for artistes. Gotta get someone compatible to get blessings from others. Otherwise, gotta be compatible with that artiste you're dating, in terms of looks, brains, money and reputation. Poor group of people. But I'm one of those scrutinizing their partners, even though I know that's not a good habit. Good thing is, I don't comment or anything. Just a passing thought maybe. Ah.. if only everyone looks the same, but then there wouldn't be nice looking ppl to look at. Ah the dilemma..

Interestingly, I saw someone comment on one of those pop-gossip blogs I read. S/he said: Everyone has talents, but only people with looks get to be top of entertainers. Gyaha, true enough. I guess, some of the talented pool are just blessed with looks. Ah.. plastic surgery. I should get a boob job or something :) Can just change the whole face? Hah

This song moves me to tears, jeongmal. Well, nearly anyway. It's so touching even if I don't know what the heck they're singing.

I've also just watched Andy's come back during Shinhwa 5th fanmeeting video. For SHCJ, First Love will be the mark of Andy's comeback then? Added meaning to the song I'd say. For the return of Shinhwa's little baby ^^

A lot of people setting up families now. FB shows a lot of kiddy and baby pictures. And happy family wedding pictures. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't moved.

It must be great to be with someone you love, and having a kid together too. (Of course, let's omit all the financial woes these people might face.) I like kids, not the potty part, the playing part haha!

I'm not really a romantic person by nature (jeongmal!) WYSIWYG from me. Pity the bf who has to bear with the lack of emotions. I doubt this kind of happy-family life is the life for me. There is still so much to do, so much to see in this world. But once in a while, I'd get somewhat tired and think: Ah, won't it be nice to have someone to talk to without any barriers, just cause s/he will be the person who understands you. Won't it be nice to have someone rely on you for once? Won't it be nice to be someone really important to another human being. To him, you'll be the world ^^

I like the lyrics in First Love. It reminds me of what I felt when going into relationships, at start. I once told a friend that I do not know what falling in love is, because I have never had strong emotions. I can't say I know now, but at least I feel a wee bit of emotion. So the song in the above video really matches thoughts from me as a fan :) Yah, I'm a 5 month old Shinhwa fan. And I love all the guys C: *satisfied*


Anyway, I'm also very er.. surprised at the creativity of korean fans. [the song was composed and sung by Shinhwa Changjo Korea(Shinhwa fanclub)] And it's done over the music of one of the more popular pop songs in the last month (?) maybe?

Such a short time to come up with lyrics and record the whole thing down!

Can't seem to get the song "All about you" by McFly from my head.

Fairly good weather today------- an in-house report from me.
Internet connection is good too----- another in-house report.

Dreams? I've had my share of weird dreams again.
If it wasn't a thriller dream, it would be some kind of repetitive dream that has me waking up over and over again to realise I was still in dreamland. Oh, there's this dream where I dreamt Chyi Mei having a tragic accident while parasailing. Ouchee, that was gut-robbing. Think I had my heart in throat in that dream. Another dream of me reminding myself what to write on my blog, but i forgot whatintheheavens it was as soon as I woke up.


Sigh.

Should I be positive and tell myself:: Awhh, it's good to forget things, at least you won't remember anything bad ;)

Yannie's bday was on Wednesday, we bought a cake (BTW, no one paid me any money for the sharing of cake!!! Bayar bayar!!!!) for her on Thursday. Planned to celebrate then go class after. Manatau, the class was cancelled last minute and we entertained ourselves in the brightly painted rooms of FBEPS. (Just so we can justify the petrol +time used to commute to uni)

She tried to kill me, god knows why.

Still in Dream world

Chyi et al is enjoying a tour in the southern hemisphere!

The above sentence is typed out purely as a statement of fact. I have nothing more to elaborate on it o:)

Sleep is essential in my life nowadays. Snuggling up between covers in temp ranging from 10 to 15 degree Celsius. Waking up around noon. Do some laundry, clean some floors, watch tv, read some books, eat, then fall back for evening nap. Repeat process from 'watch tv' until midnight. My daily schedule. Most of the time.

With sleep comes dreams. I can't remember, but I know all the dreams are just plain weird. Got episodes some more, eesh.

I wonder how everyone else is doing?

Nostalgia

Hi all, I'm presenting pictures again today

Not much happening except lots of food, and I lost my spectacles. And.. perhaps one or two spring cleaning in action. I can't believe how my cousin manages to survive in a room full of dust and grime. Guys will be guys perhaps?

Anyway, I'm going to hit the ceilings and rid me some spider webs tomorrow. If I manage to wake up.

Huge can of Orange soda spotted. Some competition ad. Dance and win a trip to Korea or something.

I had a lot and a lot of these. I ate durians for 5 days out of 9 days I touched down in JB.

What I ate this morning!
Ah, this delicious noodle is called 阿古麵. It tastes like what CHMS kolomee used to be. To me, at least. Brings back some very nostalgic taste bud experience.

Delicious.

The soup comes with the noodle. It has pig livers in it, the soup is tasty too.

Lots of people frequenting this noodle shop. And I can see other reasons for that besides their delicious noodle.

A lot of kopitiams in Malaysia does not really put much effort into the ambiance or environment of their business premises. This shop has a shop owner (or family) that decorates the shop with paintings or drawings/photographs of Chinese art. Plus, ventilating fans are installed on the ceiling to enable smooth air flow. Good for a business with many customers :)

The shop also has an area in front of the shop wher additional seats are provided. This area is quite shady, with a huge tree and bits of aluminium thatches sheltering customers. The shady spot is not so stuffy, quite windy around that area. Would be nice for afternoon tea there. Except, the noodles will all sell out by 10.30 am.

Ah, some kopitiams place speakers that plays oldies for customers too. Its quite nice to sit in a place, eating breakfast, and listen to some Chinese oldies. I saw a kid praying to 'Na Du Gong' and try to get 4 numbers for her dad yesterday while sitting at another hawker stall :) Some Chinese-translated English oldie was playing :P


I'm a business-minded person.
