At 11 PM
I'm going to type a short post and sleep real early. Considering my normal times at 4AM, yes, 11PM is reallll early.
Congrats to Cheemee for her new page in life. I find it very... consoling =) Very happy for you and where on cyberspace have you been? Busy packing I suppose? Maybe the times just doesn't match :)
Saw this really cute picture of DongWan and MinWoo taken during Bong's birthday on 0729. Really cute those two, I'm gonna make it into my wallpaper Heh. I wanna pose like that with someone's birthday cake too~ (Nick? LOL)
The updated post on Dongwan's blog roughly mentions the exceptional coincidence of things you didn't mean to happen, to happen. 缘 was his word. Ain't that the truth :) Still, I'd like to try for specific goals too, no matter what the detours and diversions there may be.
I'm going to start a healthy pattern. Going to Tasek tomorrow. I'll wake up, I swear.

Listening to: Super Junior- 말하지면 (You're my endless love)
MM.. Been almost 2 weeks since I came back from Malaysia. I'm fussing and fidgeting due to the sudden return to having almost nothing to do all day. Although, truth be told, the trip was pretty exhausting with many rush-around, transporting baggage, waiting/chasing after bus and trains, lots of i-don't-know-where-the-heck-I'm-going moments too. Hmm, memory pretty fuzzy actually.
Anyway, pictures to be posted later. I've transported the pictures to HD in order to make room for the many videos of Shinhwa I'm downloading haha.
Read this Chinese novel of... Japanese ghost stories. Some of them are pretty bizarre, outright disgusting if you want to imagine the scenes even. But there's one that particularly stayed in my mind.
It's about a noble in olden days. How, every night after fooling around with his lover, would take the same trishaw back home to his very-rich wife. The story goes on to show his growing disgust towards his wife. But the wife says nothing about how he's changed to a domestically-violent husband.
This noble sometimes get the feeling that the trishaw puller doesn't like him, maybe even mean to harm him, but he has no choice but to take that ride home every time he comes out of the lover's house, else he'd have to walk home- for that was the only trishaw standing by that area.
One night, he was forced to walk home after seeing no sign of the trishaw. But, he sees the puller puling away from his house to another direction. He goes home to find his wife gone, and starts to look for her (he thinks of the wife as his possession, his toy, even if he doesn't like her, she's still his, and what would his father-in-law say?) and started to think the wife ran away with the puller (as she is always seen looking out the front window whenever the noble arrives home)
Just then, the father-in-law's servant came looking for him.
Apparently, the wife committed suicide that night. And her body was taken by the trishaw puller to the father's house. Long ago, before her marriage, a trishaw puller deeply admired the wife. The day of her marriage, he committed suicide. All along, the puller knew of the noble's wrongdoings, and all he did every night was to deliver him back to the wife, so she wouldn't be sad. Now that she's gone, he takes her from the wretched place and puts her back where she would be properly treated.
Interesting. Very moved by the puller's affection, that can last even afterlife. Relationships nowadays are really infected by so many other things that this kind of pureness is rare.

Same place I walked before
A few days ago, I went back to CHMS to get my lil brother
Had some time to kill before he's let off, so I walked around the area a bit
This would be my first time walking around inside the school ever since the renovations took place. The place really became so pretty. I almost don't recognize the old places. Everything's so changed now.
I visited what used to be 天井, and that little toilet that was re-built. Boy, the toilets are still so small "-_- The toilet culture of primary kids persists as well (guffaws thinking about the two little girls' conversation in the toilet)
I can see some spots where I used to stand. The same spot that make me trip and skinned my knee. That peculiar tree where I took a picture on graduation day; it grew damn tall btw. That spot up those stairs where I stood and stared out into the now-defunct- padang. Ah memories.
Once again, the thought that I've left middle-secondary school life for so many years hits me. I don't feel that old yet (thinks of Brain's sentence " we could look a lot older"- see? going to the beach at night to talk leaves a lot of thought-inspiring phrases) but really, I don't feel that young anymore :)
I think this is a ranting post ><
Oh. DongWan is really such a sweetie. And a tech-pro at that. Read at Baidu forum that he replied to Chinese fans via his blog to dispel any rumors about him going to China anytime soon. Cute! I can't imagine that sort of attention coming from an artiste. But some to think of it, I bet he wouldn't have that much time to take note of these things if he was actually active as an artiste. Just wait till he finishes his military obligation. Then he'd be all over the media, or maybe, Japanese media then.

Updated: Shinhwa's 12th anniversary!

Joyous day! It's finally March 24th!
A very happy 12th anniversary to Shinhwa for making it so long, may there be many more years to come! Even with Shinhwa Juniors too!
This is my first anniversary, it'll be a happy one with many orange!
I'll be back to post more pictures (haven't yet finished my report :P)
But Dongwan has already posted a great blog post to all fans. 5 of them went celebrating together, at least ^^
________________________________________
Me n my sis went out with part of the original 'shinhwa gang' ^^
Thai food, JP and sitting down to talk
Not too bad really, it was fun chatting with funny people lol
Me n the sis drove around Jeruding Beach after, it was really great to see the beach in moonlight. Felt really magical, especially when the waves are coming in. Wish I could have drew it, but my skills are really limited company. Magical moments are really hard to draw.
Also, I got my orange icing cake in the end! Never give up!
Though I think I edited it to be a little weird- the color- but it was REAL Orange!

I had a field day watching Shinhwa on YT, listening SH for many hours straight, thinking about them boys who celebrated :)
I like them not because they're the coolest, the hottest, or even with the greatest hits. But they're brothers, and I'm envious of and loving that at the same time. I can't wish for them to live together or whatnot someday in the future, but them being brothers to each other, who would be there for each other is good enough for me. :)
Even if its ten years from now, I think I can still see myself liking them. Hey hey, I like long-life groups :)
Ah, and Dongwan's updated picture of Sungie and Eric is too precious! I'll make it a wallpaper ㅋ ㅋ ㅋ ㅋ

It;s getting late
So tired from all the assignments.
I've just made a note on all the due dates, they all due within days of each other!
Tired, but feeling like I've accomplished something.
Perhaps my body does not feel the same way, can;t say I've fully slept for the last 2 weeks.
What have I been doing while not sleeping?
I have no idea myself. Memory is getting worse and worse as I get less and less sleep :(
I need more time, especially in the mornings and afternoons
Speaking of time.
I had a tsunami of nostalgia while visiting Seri Soon Lee the other day (Duh, Eel Noos from Business Law) The smell, the place, the music, the people, gee.. even the veges! Took me back to around 10 years ago. When I would visit the place every weekend with my mom to buy veges. Where the chocolate section always grabs my attention. Where I met so many of my classmates. Where the stationery section is always interesting. Where I worked for a few months a few years ago.
How the place has changed. Yet, how the place hasn't changed
_________________________________________
I've been listening to Shinhwa's songs a lot, it seems.
Weird how I'm not getting tired of all the songs. Prolly coz there's so many different types, and also prolly cause I don't understand what they're singing anyway. So it's perfect for listening while doing assignments.
Like right now :) Have a report to hand in approx 10 hrs from now, and I haven't even written 100 words. Ooops. Need 2900 more words. hmm...
I saw this picture just now from AbsolutShinhwa. Definitely makes my day, er, night :)
So heartwarming, these two. And I love Wannie's shooting style too. Captured at exactly the right moment =)

I should really get back to typing more content into my report.
But I can't resist looking at the picture a while longer.. It'll be sometime before I can see them together as 6. While other fans have had the luck to see them together while they were still active. I became a fan only after Eric and Wannie went into military service. Tough, but I'll wait and I'll make my way to Seoul when their 15th Anniversary concert comes.
Which reminds me...should I go to Mayday's concert in KL? So near.. yet so far

Motivation
Typing away at report while torturing my ears-- listening to a sappy love song. LeeHom's "First morning"
I can't think of anything to write. Feels like my head is empty. And yet I can't bring myself to sleep without at least accomplishing something.
What's my motivation?
The thought that time passes by so fast without me realizing it. Soon, it's gonna be hectic uni life all over again. Soon, we'll all be graduating and gradually lose contact with each other as we move on with our lives. Soon, it will be Shinhwa's 20th anniversary :) I'll make do with 12th anniversary that's coming up on 24th of March.
My motivation comes from realizing that I'm one of the grown-ups now. That people actually look up at you and think: Whoa, that's old. I wonder how I will be at her age? -- Something like that.
난,정말 아빠요. 빨이 나와요
I don't know what I'm typing either. Take it as some practice towards writing whole korean sentences.
Happy Birthday Angela

Shinya Shokudo- edited
Dongwan blogged about this JDrama series. Very nice, I'm watching it bit by bit and digesting all the little details, and also the recipes. Very nice watch! About a little 'restaurant' that opens from midnight till morning, and all the characters with their stories in it. I've taken quite a liking to the 'master' of the Shokudo... probably because he looks a bit like my ex-boss :)
Shinya Shokudo! - The 10-ep Drama (about 25 min each ep) that makes me feel nostalgic and hungry at the same time.Love the last part where they give helpful tips to cook dishes featured in each ep!
Also got to watch 'The Big Bang Theory' this afternoon. Have to admit, it really is funny. I'll watch it as soon as I finish Shinya Shokudo. Or I'll just buy the dvd and keep it for a long time then watch it all when I'm finally free from books and papers :)
Which is er... maybe never? :P
Working tml yo! UK exhibition! Busy bee! Sleeping!
Shinya Shokudo's OST (and other songs by the same singer) dl link here.

Jing jing jing
Ah, listening to the xmas jingle from downstairs tv is making me feel festive.
There's no mall, no park this year for me. I've gotta be working as early as 5 am tomorrow, so need the beauty sleep I guess?
Still, Xmas.
End of the year is near.
Dongwan is off to Japan I presume :P, to spend Xmas with his girl. Chyi et al is in SG singing out their lungs (and hearts) Chonggie shuold be home and eating/showering/watching 2 pm again! And my grandma would be enjoying quiet time with her grandkids.
There's loads that I wanted to type in. But it's a case of block after I get myself in front of the monitor. I saw some pretty weird plants this morning, and also experienced early morning rain. I've had someone acting dubious then haughty after I got clueless about the materials of some pants, then got annoyed by the same person who pointed her fingers and asked where I'm from.
The dialogue:
Woman: Where are you from??
Me: Brunei
Woman: Ah, very far lah..
Me: It's with East Malaysia
Woman: *gives me white eye*
Sigh, poor woman.
I suppose I can't blame others for being less priviledged than me. *kicks at random bottle*
There's loads of scenery to look at in JB. I snapped some up, but my lappie acts all out weird so I dare not do anything with it cept scan scan and scan. Needs it to be reformatted soon!
Anyway.
I do hope, whoever is reading this.
Be happy! Tonight should be joyous and merry, because everyone else in the world is celebrating, albeit not knowing why. So look outside the window! There might be fireworks tonight ;)
Merry Christmas!

clikity clack
This keyboard goes clack clack clack, its annoying
Anyway, Have a happy end of winter to all, remember to eat your round flour balls thingy. Yeap, the greeting will still hold symbolic meaning even if we do not have winter. Rainy season count ka? But it's still raining profusely over this part of the island. Yeap, profusely.
Anywa, Duma key by Stephen King is enjoyable, because I am still reading it. No doubt he will be the one writer who can send chills down my spine with just one sentence. hearts hearts hearts
My lappie can't keep in touch with the World Wide Web at the moment, so it's a sad affair for the Internet addict that I am. Still, I be thankful for the existing connection and desktop, otherwise, I'd feel so deprived :(
Hopes to watch Avatar soon, if not in cinema, I'll make it a point to buy a pirate. As the local vcd hawker says: Support piracy! Support me! Heck, the movie should be good, even DongWan is recommending it yo! Chyi@schyime, it was good right? Right.
And the shoe hawker will respond with: Here here! Buy one free one! Buy left shoe, free right shoe!
Great "-_- I learn creative taglines from the hawkers.

200th

Current weather: Rainy Cold
Current song: Hello Mr. Christmas by Dan Bi [ref last post]
Nice weather to start off the month
Was reading the translated part of DongWan's blog just now
Where he mentioned this quote that suggests how youngsters these days are taking the extravagant life for granted.
I can feel it too. When I take hi-tea at one cafe, and my dad is eating instant noodles at home.
I can feel it too, when I see the simple food that my grandpa longs for when he's hungry.
Sigh, internationalization. (2 more exam papers to go!)
Perhaps there are times when I took things for granted. The life I have now, the things I own, the people around me. Perhaps there are times when, unintentionally, I give off a nonchalant air. Perhaps, there are times when I am outright nasty.
I can only say.. At times, I did it on purpose keke
But then, other times, I'd feel ashamed for having this 'take for granted' mentality...what to do?
