My friend- A dedication

This post is dedicated to a friend of mine

Let's start off with what a great friend he is:

When I am bored, he always entertains me
When I am sad, he comforts me
When I want to watch TV, he companies me
When I go out to play, he's always the first to go out with me
When I get bullied by my little brother, he'll stuff the mouth of that little brat for me
When I get really stressed from homework, he's my comfort pillow
When I go to sleep, I get comforted knowing he'll always be right where I left him...


How did we meet?
Hm.. I can't say exactly when. But I do remember that elated feeling I got when I first saw him. It's hard to come by his type in those days you know... Our first meeting would have been a happy occasion. Our little meet-up ended up in a sticky situation I recall, hehehe...

I brought him to parties and introduced him to my friends, and most of them loved him <3 which is good since I hoped they would like him. Glad he's accepted into my social circle :) As far as friends go, he's one top-rated one :) That's why I wanted to dedicate this post to him.


I wrote a bit into a draft, but then realised I do not have any pictures to post with the post- you know, to show how great a friend and how lovable this guy is. So I snapped some of his pictures on my own. (Yah, he's too shy to give me his photos :P)




With this I present to you...




My friend.....

MALLOW!!!

He said he likes to swing so I put him on a rope

Then he wanted to lay down a bit, cause he was tired

But, he saw this bathtub-toy thingy and got really curious. I snapped the fourth picture when he wasn't looking :P







We went out to the balcony, he's a bit scared of heights teehee...

I enjoyed endless hours of teasing him after that :P

We also took a walk outside, the weather was great ^^

He met the bittergourds, and proclaimed them his new found friends. Even took a picture with them too ^^

Ah.. we had great fun playing around in that little patch of a garden..

But then...


Unfortunate things always happen, do they?

Sigh..






3 phases to his untimely end:

1. Getting bruised by the cactus while waving bye bye to the bittergourds :(
2. Falling into a puddle of water. I tried to help him out.. but he was thrashing around. His only weakness is water you see...
3. It was not long before he started to change, his shape I mean. His face started fading away.. and he was getting smaller and smaller... until... he was gone..
   

It was on that day, that I realised, you have to enjoy and be happy with your friends while you can.

I do hope, he gets happiness and peace wherever he is
