There's this idea about setting up a young entrepreneur's society. Possibly in UBD before setting sights on other higher institutions.
Proposed activities would include:
- Course/workshops or any other activities to enhance entrepreneurial skills.
- Attending related seminars/conferences
- Seek sponsorship/aid from orgs such as ASEANpreneurs/YEAB (Young Entrepreneur Association of Brunei) and so on
- Participation in competitions such as the recently-held 2008 HSBC YEA (Young Entrepreneur Awards)
- Any other activities that can be suggested by members
So this thing is still in the pen-and-paper stage. And planning is underway to RECRUIT, FORMALIZE and SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM OUTSIDE ORGANIZATIONS.
At least, that's the idea, in general, that I have regarding this matter.
Anyone interested. Er hem, no kacau-ers please. UBDians come come!
