Ain't that conflicting?

Been meaning to post this picture up for some time.
If I remember correctly, I even sent this picture to Brunei Times, for the ' Funny signs' section or something. I didn't follow up on whether they published it or not. But since no emails came back then i guess not.

This picture is a panaroma shot taken in one of the classrooms in FBEPS, UBD.

Notice how one sign says ' Do not switch off air-con' (With a line under 'not')

And the other says ' Do you need air-con? If no, please switch it off. If yes, bla bla bla' I quite forgot what it says for yes. So very focused on the No part.

Ain't it amusing? If i happen to want to switch off the air-con (cause the bigger sign says so) I'd be stopping to think a while with my hand on the switch, and looking at the small Don't switch off sticker.

Maybe the small sticker is an older notice. And the big signs are new ones. If I remember correctly, the big signs were posted up last year.

I wonder, if the old signs are always not taken down when new ones are posted up, then we might have classroom walls looking like THIS
